VINCENT LEWIS, ATO, CHSS
President & Founder
Founder of Border State Security, Vincent's experience in the field spans multiple platforms from that of a local police officer to that of a hospital-based security officer as well as a security officer in local healthcare clinics. Vincent holds a degree in Criminal Justice and is a Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor (CHSS). He is a member of the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) as well as a member of the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO).
Vincent holds an armed license from the State of Vermont and is a
certified instructor with AVADE® Workplace Violence Prevention training, AVADE® Active Shooter Training, and AVADE® Home Health Care Training.
MARY KING, RN, BSN, CHSS
Director of Business Development
Mary comes to Border State Security with an array of experience ranging from thirteen years as treasurer for a business strategy corporation to
thirty-eight years as a registered nurse, both hospital-based and in private practice, as well as the founder of a healthcare clinic. Mary’s business experience, coupled with her extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, has enabled her to bring Border State Security to new levels .

Defensive Tactics Instructor
As the Team’s Defensive Tactics Instructor, Kyle provides intensive training opportunities for the Officers of Border State Security. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, has achieved multiple instructor-level certifications through Personal Protection Consultants, Inc., and has been awarded the designation of Certified Advanced Healthcare Security Officer (CAHSO) from the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety.
JUSTIN CURTIS, FTO, CHSS
Security Supervisor & AVADE Instructor
Justin comes to Border State Security with
extensive experience in both Corrections and Retail Management. As the Security Supervisor, he possesses exceptional expertise in healthcare security. In his role as an AVADE Instructor, Justin delivers Workplace Violence Prevention Training to Border State Security clients. Furthermore, he has earned the prestigious Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor (CHSS) designation from the International Association of Healthcare Security and Safety, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field.
